Introduction
1.1 Description of Business
Earthy Co provides a high-quality, smart, and reliable online store which is specially built upon creating a sustainable and environmentally friendly products. Earthy Co provides silverware utensils such as cutleries and straws for everyone in order to reduce the usage of plastic cutleries which can take up many years to decompose. Studies shows that plastic wastes are dangerous to many living beings in the ocean as they often confused it as their food. Earthy Co is an online business consisting 10 people driving to reach the goal of providing eco-friendly cutleries and reducing plastic waste. All profits made will be donated to an orphanage at Kompleks Kebajikan Hamidah Yakup, Miri.
1.2 Objective of Business
Earthy Co’s objective is to stand out among many other cutleries businesses by providing sustainable and environmentally friendly utensils in order to replace the use of plastic cutleries. Within the first 3 months, Earthy Co pushes the sales of silverware cutleries in order to increase awareness of plastic waste while helping people to replace their plastic usage of cutleries through the online store. Other than that, Earthy Co provides high quality, great looking, reusable, portable and sustainable cutleries. With Earthy Co’s online presence, we would also aim to reach many website viewers. As Earthy Co is about giving back to the community, 100% of Earthy Co’s profit will eventually be donated to Kompleks Kebajikan Hamidah Yakup.
1.3 Strategy of business
In terms of the strategy of Earthy Co, we know that Earthy Co has the strength to provide eco-friendly products to every single customer. We will be focusing on using eco-friendly ways to market our products while bringing awareness about the importance of sustainable products. As it brings more awareness to customers, the demand for sustainable cutleries will increase as more customers will have the mindset to save the environment and reduce the use of plastic waste. Furthermore, green products are economically supported by the government of Malaysia as it helps Malaysia for its sustainable development for a long-term period. Earthy Co can also operate during the pandemic as it is an online platform which customers can have an easy access to purchase their own eco-friendly cutleries.
The type of customers that would mostly be attracted to our products are students, parents, and office workers. As for students, especially from Curtin University, students will realize how important it is to keep the environment from pollution. As Earthy Co births out from Curtin students, many Curtin students would buy and support this movement. Next, parents would also be one of our customers. This is because they would teach their children the importance of using sustainable items. Moreover, office workers would love it as it is eco-friendly and portable which is easy to bring it to work. Lastly, influencers who are supporting and promoting the green movement.
Earthy Co will be continued until the end of our stock in order gain 100% of Earthy Co’s profit which will be given to Kompleks Kebajikan Hamidah Yakup. Due to the Covid-19 restrains, Earthy Co’s online store can be accessed easily by everyone to purchase their own Earthy Co products even during the lockdown.
Business analysis
2.1 Market analysis
The target market for Earthy Co would mainly be university students, parents, office workers, and influencers. University students are our main target because we believe that they would love the designs of our cutleries and support green movement which therefore makes them desire to own a set. As an eco-friendly product, we also target parents who knows the importance of sustainable products. This is because they would teach their children the importance of green products. Our next main target would be office workers as it is convenient for them to carry around their utensils at work or working at home. For example, they can easily bring their eco-friendly cutleries from home to work easily. Last but not least, influencers who are supporting the green movement to increase the awareness of reducing plastic waste.
The competition of Earthy Co would be battling with the use of one-time plastic cutleries as it harms the marine creatures.

3.0 Teamwork
Before the starting up for our business, research has been done by our group members in Miri. We have discussed and decided to start a company called Earthy.co that sells reusable utensils.
Earthy.co has 3 build platform which consists of 3 teams, that are in charge of the website, Facebook, and Instagram.
The website team is in charge of the product information, start-up information, and product sales.

4.0 Summary
By selling our products, this helps in saving our environment and decreases the rate of water pollution. Moreover, by selling our products, we were able to raise funds for an orphanage. During the start-up of our group’s business, we were able to spread awareness of the harm of plastic cutleries and the benefits of using reusable cutleries to our environment. While conducting our business, it has teached us how important it is to preserve the earth and the consequences for using the harmful materials to our environment. Other than that, while we were conducting this project, we have faced some issues throughout our project duration. However, the problems didn’t really disturb our pace and we are able to discuss and agree with one another in the end. By selling the reusable utensils, we were able to help several people in need while at the same time we can reduce the harm of plastic.
